Why is religion such a taboo topic? Why do so many people have an aversion to hearing about spirituality, whether Christian or not? Why is it that everyone can listen to music with sex, drugs, violence, love, and friendship but God is going too far? Why is religion such a divisive subject for anyone to approach.
Today’s Good News was an important one to see coming from my background. Being from Detroit, I’ve seen too many kids get in fights because of pointless arguments or just from friends instigating. When I was young, I was even in a good amount of those fights myself. Check out the following four minute clip.
As a subtle but not so subtle transition, I spoke about all types of relationships except the one that is most important to me, God. All this week is inspired by my exploration of my relationship with God. I wasn’t able to see The Shack yet, so let’s talk about a surprise enjoyment, War Room instead.
In the midst of the increasingly chaotic and toxic world, I’ve been really trying to think about my plans of action in a positive manner. Plan of Action – Education spoke on the misconceptions we have on proper education and new ways to think. I want to propose a new way to think about family.
I’ve talked about father-child relationships, romantic relationships, relationships with pets, and even art/music interacting with itself. The central element to all of these relationships has a level of intention and purpose. Today, I wanted to talk about one of the hardest relationships, internal conflict and how that affects others.
